Low Water String Band

Formed in 2012, the Low Water String Band is based out of Lander, Wyoming. The Low Water recorded and released their first self-titled album of eleven original songs in 2015, followed by a four-song EP, “When You’re Gone” released in 2018, which was voted the #4 album in Wyoming by the listeners at Wyoming Public Radio for 2019.

The band shares songwriting duties and the different styles blend together for a unique sound.  Their, "Wyoming Indie-Bluegrass" style has gained audiences across the Rocky Mountain region.

Festival performances include Whatfest, Evanston Bluegrass Festival, NoWoodstock, Donkey Creek Music Festival, Mansface Music Festival, Bear Trap Festival, and The Big Horn Mountain Festival. The band was fortunate enough to open for Lake Street Dive in 2016 and for The Wood Brothers in 2019 their Lander Live performances.

The Low Water  joined a traveling Wyoming music showcase in 2017, "The WyoAmericana Caravan." The sixth year of the tour included bands Screen Door Porch, Jalan Crossland, J Shogren, Dauphin, and the Canyon Kids. The tour traveled and performed in Wyoming, Montana, Colorado, Utah and Idaho.
